About School Visits
Why an Author Visit?
It’s a wonderful way of getting kids engaged and excited to read! It is a memorable and rewarding experience for kids, teachers and authors!
What to expect from our Author Visit?
Every visit will have Megan Young read her children's book, "Kid and the Nothing-to-Do Year". She will share age appropriate information about her creative process and Spokane highlights. With hopes of fostering curiosity, a Q/A session is always offered.
A signed copy will be donated to each new participating school (limit 1 per school).
Fees and why?
None! Outreach and connecting with youth is part of our mission. We want to encourage children to be an engaged part of our community. We design our projects to serve our children, families, and educators.
Book Discounts
Again, our mission is to connect with our youth, and that means making "Kid and the Nothing-to-Do Year" as accessible as possible. Your visit type will include a school discount option, please see our "School Packages" for more information.
